We do have Ricardo in Switzerland, it`s more like Amazon or Ebay but only serves Switzerland, i dont know if the sellers even ship internationally.
4 days ago l found an offer for 2 bottles of Yves Rocher perfume for $10(converted).l did not exactly need perfume but I could not resist the bargain
Since the auction was to finish in less than 1 minute l thought ok i`ll bid and surprise l won the bid.
Today l got my 2 perfumes by courier, what a bargain. The only downside is the shipping price, economy shipping cost me CHF 12.50 which i find quite expensive. But then the perfumes could have cost much more in the shop.

If you think about it, shopping online locally is better than shopping online internationally. If you think about it, eBay charges higher than Ricardo when it comes to shipping.
My country's equivalent of eBay is Lazada.

@miniam it is their stragey ..by reducing value of good they increase the value of shipping..either way it is a win - win situation for them

Yes it is still a bargain even with the shipping and you did not have to go inside stores to shop.
I am right now trying to look up Ricardo site just to have a look at it.

@miniam Yes I got it through googling minisam. But for some reason so far it has not let me through to the site...I will keep trying however. It would be most interesting for me to see what beautiful things Switzerland has on offer, not that I could buy, but just to window shop.
Thanks.

But, i look at it this way, perfume is not tomatoes that will rot if l dont use in a week or in a month, l can still use it next year or give as a present so it`s a bargain. The shipping, well those are the prices here but you are right, way over priced

Must say they are good, all things i bought at Ricardo come exactly as they were written online, no nasty surprises and l love Ricardo because l know latest 5 days(usually earlier) l will have my article.
As said, the shipping is expensive, B post is from Chf 9.00 up.
Some sellers also do not agree to post and you have to pick up what you buy by yourself,so do check before you buy, if they ship ok if they dont, are they close enough to your location so you can pick it up?

It's always nice to get a bargain. Pity about the postage.

One of the reasons I enjoy Amazon Prime so much is the free shipping. It helps when I find something I really need at a good price! But your perfume sounds wonderful, too! :)
