Its been an hour for me to be on MyLot. I am looking forward to posts of the MyLot Users and commenting on them in order to give my opinion on something on which I know nothing about. (Maybe all are doing this only) So I want to know that What actually is MyLot other than commmeting on Random posts. If anybody have a time to elaborate then I would be thankful.

I was googling about Writing Communities over net in search of good articles and blogs in order to improve my writing skills. Then I found MyLot somewhere on Some Website and signed up. Didn't think much.

@VasuJain97 But now you are with this post. What is myLot you are asking now. Good to think about it in the beginning I think.
In my opinion and it is an opinion like many others will give opinion is that myLot is what you want it to be. If you want to improve your writing skills you will find ways to do this here or if you are interested in well written articles you will look for people that write them here.
Some members just come to chill. Did this help in any way or?

Welcome to mylot. Give your opinion and participate on the discussion which you like and make healthy discussion ,make new friends. Unwanted comments and discussions can be resulted in a bad reputation.

Welcome to MyLot!!
You don't have to comment on random posts. You can search the posts that interests you and comment on them. More you interact more you would get used to the style and working of the English language. You will feel more comfortable and grow confidence.

We;come to MyLot. It's a discussion forum and a social site. It's a good place for meeting people from all over the world and learning many things. It's also a good place to practice writing and to improve your English. Oh, and you can also earn a little money in the process!

Really it isn't just commenting on random posts, you have to add some sort of value to the community as well. Search for the things that you do know about first, you can build discussions around your interests as well.
But its good that you asked first before assuming anything and just did what you a anted to do. Check out the FAQ section, it will help you get a clearer picture of what your do's and don'ts are.
Or you can refer to @JJ for he has written plenty of discussions on the topic.
