This is Chance the winner of The National Obedience Championship working group.
What an honor for a Rottweiler to be the winner.
His owner is Jeremy in California. Isn't Chance a beautiful dog.
Chance received his winners ribbon on March 19th from the American Kennel Club.
Way to go Chance.

Yes, way to grow. You don't usually hear of these type dogs and obedience together. Good to have some positive feedback for them for a change.

No you don't often hear of them and obedience together. They are wonderful dogs. It is good to hear good things about them as so many people seem to think they are not good dogs.

My sister had a Rottweiler some years ago, he was huge, and the gentlest dog I had ever seen. I would come to visit and he would put his big ol head in my lap the entire time I was there. Such a good dog.

They are large dogs but mostly they are very gentle and loving dogs.

@Marcyaz yes they are ..some times they have a bad reputation...but that's down to the way the humans have trained or treated them....

He does look beautiful! I am not familiar with Rottweiler, but there was a neighbor who stayed next door to my parents had a Rottweiler, and almost all the neighbors hated the dog, and thus the owner as well. The dog was too violent and scary as well. He always wanted to jump over to my house as well. So, I never thought Rottweiler is an obedient and good dog.
But, Chance looks so much better!
