Do you love land holidays or cruises?

I know what my answer to this question is - a cruise vacation! Land holidays are great but there is something so exciting about getting on board a ship and sailing off on a cruise, for a week or so! What is your take on this?

I went on my first cruise in 2012 and I would do it again in a heart beat. My sister, retired, takes 2 vacations a year. Once they took a cruise they never went back to land vacations. Cruises all the way. There is so much to do on the ship in the evening and even during the day, you don't have to have any cash, and organizing day trips is so easy. Heck, I would LIVE on a cruise ship if I could.

I love cruises but I would miss my garden and flowers.

i prefer celebrating it at home. we're used to it and we can do whatever we want if we are at our own place. a cruise trip afterwards though would be nice.

Home entertaining is also great ..as long as your guests help in the kitchen. On a cruise ..no cooking and cleaning for the lady of the house for a week or so!

We've only been on one cruise and had a great time but I don't know that Vince would want to go again.

Depends of course what activities you are interested in. We loved the island stops and diving.

I have only been on one cruise three years ago and I really enjoyed it. But I also like taking vacations by car, seeing all the scenery.
