It is the mangosteen fruit. Based on several studies, the skin of the mangosteen fruit has high levels of antioxidants called xanthones. These compounds can kill cancer cells naturally, with no side effects at all.

Yes, in Australia the fruit does not available in the market. But, some doctors know about the benefits of mangosteen for health. We eat the flesh of the fruit, but we can boil the skin for treat some diseases like cholesterol, cancer, diabetes etc. If you want to know more about the fruit, you can brows from internet.

We have a lot of that in the Southern part of the Philippines but here in Metro Manila, they are quite expensive, only rich people can afford it, yes it has many healing properties and tastes very good. The juice is fantastic but very expensive

@srisahara In metro Manila it's around 4 dollars but in the Southern Philippines which is near your country it could go as low as 0.70 dollars per kilogram. My wife is from the South where there are lots

Yes, this fruit healing some dangerous diseases such as high blood pressure,cancer, diabetes etc. It is very cheap in my country, about $0.9 for a kilogram of mangosteen in traditional market. While in modern market about$1.2/kilogram. How much a kilogram of mangosteen in your country?

I think it shall be a very common fruit for the tropical places. The mangosteen fruits are also available here. In Chinese we think when you eat a lot of Durian, then you shall eat more mangosteen fruits so that your body will be balanced. The mangosteen fruits really taste well when they are put into the fridge.

Yes, you are right. it is tropical fruit. Mangosteen season will come together with durian season. I think you know about the benefit of the fruit for our health. isn't it?

Yes, I think that is an amazing fruit. In my country it is very cheap. One kilogram of mangosteen is only $0.9. What about in your country, is it also cheap?

Woow it is very good. You have mangosteen tree in your farm. I think it is pretty expensive if a kilogram of mongosteen $5. In my country about $0.9-1.2/kilo. How about some products from mangosteen skin? Is it available in your country?

Maybe there is because there are many buyers who bought by bulk and they told us that it is for medicine but here in our place non, most people are only are boiling the skin and made to cure diarrhea and stomach ache.

Yes, this fruit look odd, but the fruit so delicious. The skin of the fruit has high level of oxidant which called as xanthone. I think the fruit is not available in your country.

I have eaten this fruit in fact I could say have swallowed those white seeds which are not meant to bitten. I have a tree but it has not yielded so far. The outside cover is dried and stored One can make a nice drink out of it.

I do like eating mangosteen, after eating mangoesteen we were told by our parent not to eat sweets or sugar.
There were selling juice extract from skin in the market too

Yes. In Indonesia the fruit is abundant in traditional and modern market. It is very cheap, about $0.9-1.2 per kilogram. Whereas, the fruit has hing advantages for treat some dangerous diseases such as diabetes, cholesterol, cancer and high blood pressure. I hope one day you will find the fruit...
