Earn and let others earn.

With the change in new mylot now people do not earn for commenting but for getting comments on their discussions. But there are few people who don't understand it and don't comment on other's discussion but just smile when they get responses on their disc. I request them to understand the format and do let others also to earn.

I think Mylot is still a work in progress, and we can expect more changes in the future. They will probably twist the earning algo a bit in the future so that everyone who contributes will be paid fairly. Personally I like to see the combination of both the old earning model and the new earning model of Mylot. The old Mylot paid us for participating, but it did not have passive component. The new Mylot did not directly paid us for participating, but it had passive component.

Hope so they do as I have been many members questioning that their earnings are not increasing although they have written several responses on the discussions

I noticed some people respond but never hit like buttons. I guess liking helps others earn too because it means your post/comment is interesting.

I never used to hit "like" button which I always hit now but I don't think it earns much for that person

We can all help each other out by commenting on someones post. After all most posts are interesting and then you get plenty of different responses. To me it is part of the fun reading down others responses then comment on them. You can have a real good conversation that way. Never short of something to say, that's me

Yes, that is why I am making sure that I respond to all those who make comments on my post so they will also do the same for me. We should all reciprocate each others effort here.

@LdeL0318 there are lots of people who don't know how they are paid. They must learn it otherwise they may not earn further.

That's right . I always try to do the same as I know that's the way we can increase responses on our discussions no other way we can do that.

As this site has been one of the more interactive and user friendly site, we all need to participate well. Maybe one day, the platform owners will initiate new ways for all of us to earn better here. Till then, let's keep our fingers crossed. Enjoy posting more discussions as well as commenting as a way to support other members too.

I agree. I like the new system much better and plus it works as a good motivator to stay on top of your notifications. And of course it inspires discussions to actually take place which is great!

Yes now people have to take care of the notification as they are paid for the comments they get unlike they used to be in the past.

my problem now a days is that i don't get to comment back fast the way I used to. which is why I wrote my post every once a day.

That is a very good suggestion. I like the fact that there is a link under Explore for discussions that have no response. I often go to these to help get things going forward by reading, commenting and so on.

I use to do often but most of the time I check my notifications and try to respond to the members who have responded on my discussions first then do anything else.
