Today I bought a pack of hot cross buns. they are not huge but they are very plump and heavy and i have no idea how to heat them. They are too big to fit in the toaster.
How have I done this at other times? i suppose i could cut them in half and put them under the griller but this just doesn't seem right. Have I forgotten something? Any suggestions?
I wanted chocolate ones but couldn't find any so I have sticky date and caramel ones. Hoping they are yum.

Cut them in two. Place them a small bowl of water in the microwave for a few seconds.

I have heard about hot cross buns, but how does it look and taste? Does it taste like the normal bun? Where do we get it?

You can pop them in the microwave with a little cup of water and steam them..
