New myLot payment plan - just what I needed!

I haven't been writing on myLot for the past several weeks. I kept thinking I really should get back to it. Reaching that $10 cashout shouldn't be all that difficult. I did good for the first couple of weeks, posted quite a few articles but then got busy with other things and let it drop for awhile. Tonight I checked in again and read that marvelous post about getting paid for the next two payment periods without having to reach that $10 amount. We can now get paid for having as little as $1.00 in our accounts! Wow! Thanks, myLot! That is just the incentive I needed. I understand this is an experiment by myLot to perk things up. I sure hope it works. I will try to do my part, write more often and hopefully enjoy many successful payouts!

I really hope this becomes a permanent thing. I think it has a good effect on me. I'm being more active because I feel that I have an attainable goal, unlike before. And because of the new look of mylot I'm enjoying posting more than before too. Earnings do increase faster if you are really enjoying.

Me too. I do much better with immediate gratification and the $1.00 payment is a very good incentive. I'm thinking maybe a lot of the writers will feel the same wa.

I just register a few days ago in this site and I can say I am lucky that there is a new payment plan. But I don't think it's that easy for me. I'm still getting the hang of this site.

I think you'll like the site once you get going. Interacting with others is key to earnings.

@LindaCPearson thank you for the tips. Though earning is just a perk, I'm thinking of expanding my views about the world and make sone friends as well. I've been reading and learning a lot from thread starters here more than from other sites which is great. I also like it when I read about places I've never been

It does take a lot of work to reach goals. Just gotta stay dedicated. Since I signed up today, I am already at $0.26 and counting. So thats pretty good

I wouldn't mind if it continued, for I doubt that I'll be making ten bucks a month here anytime soon. I almost reached it within two months this round, whereas the first time it took me four months to get there. With this in place, it may cause me to try to get other things done first, maybe, but I spend a decent amount of time here most weeks anyway. Good to see you back, or did I already say that before? I've seen a few people today that I've not seen in a while, so I don't remember whose post I said something like that on.

I like the $1.00 payment idea. With the $10 payout, my incentive was much lower. I hope myLot continues with this idea, maybe not always at $1.00 but maybe $5.00 or less. I would definitely make an effort to write more.

It feels jumbled to me, hard to find things with no categories available. It might be interesting though. I figure I'll give it a month to see how it goes and how hard it is.

The closest thing to categories I can find are in the "Explore" section. The site is very casual and also very undemanding, which became a problem for Bubblews. The key to earnings is interacting, which can be fun but also time-consuming. I'm going to give it a chance. I work best with immediate gratification and the $1.00 for payment is a good incentive for me. I also enjoy the interaction when I have the time.

That's good. It does appear to be an experiment so anyone interested in the $1 payout should do their bit by increasing their activity. Also, maybe you've a few friends that may like the site? We don't have the referral bonus here anymore but getting new members is good for everyone.

I'm one of those people who gets motivated by immediate gratification and I think many others feel the same way. Hopefully, this new payment incentive will really perk things up.

I started and slacked off but just restarted. I find if I stop anything for a while, it takes me a long time to get back at it. So glad I'm back and looking forward to writing, reading and meeting many other myLotters!

I think that Alex (the Admin) was right that this is an incentive for many users to come back.

It's. Ot the writing of articles that lifts your bank as much as the interaction with other Mylotters.

I think it's unanimous about the $1 payout. It's takes a lot of effort to reach $10 and one missed day can throw you off the pace.

I agree. It is hard to write every day and try for the payout. This feels much better - write as much when you can but not worry when you don't have the time.
