Memories...A Fictional Look At Love

It all began with a quick glance. I know, many people don't believe in love at first sight, but I do, I most assuredly do. I didn't used to you know. I was as skeptical as the next person. But then, it happened to me. More years ago than I like to admit, I fell in love in an instant, the moment I saw his face. It was almost like an electric shock ran through my body. I felt as though I knew he, almost remembered him. But, how could this be? He was unlike anyone I had ever met. Our eyes met as he crossed the room headed straight for me. We clasped hands and walked slowly out to the veranda and into the night. That look, that kiss, all seemed to have been imprinted into my mind from years ago. Without a word being spoken, we both knew that we were meant to be together. Here were are fifty years later, as much in love as we were from that first little glance.
