Different Nicknames and Names for different sites

I sometimes feel like a liar and a cheat when I'm forced to change my name to use some site because the name I want has been taken. How am I supposed to be famous online if l can't have the same name so people who know me can find me easy? Forums,social media and the rest of them you try to register only to be told the name is taken and you should choose a new name. Im trying to be famous online lol and they are making it difficult to almost impossible. How do you feel about not being able to join a site with a name of your choice? to me it make me feel like I'm hiding something.

Honestly, I can't recall ever having trouble when it comes to using my chosen name. But before I added the numbers, it was tough to sign up as just "Ruby."

@miniam You mean they only allow the name to be so long? Or are you referring to a name being only letters? I guess I'm lucky because my name is fairly short, and no site has ever cut it off except once. I think it was a site for playing online games. It just cut off my last digit, though.

Which is not always easy, there are sites i have joined where i could not remember my username later

l have to find some exotic and foreign name combination but then it will be an ugly name and what do i do if someone copies my name and join a site before me?lol

Well, I never experience that yet. Maybe my name is one of a kind, an exotic one hahaha. Anyway, even if you change your name, you can still be famous for you are hardworking and a good individual.

I think it is normal. because most of us want to protect privacy.Doing something like that aisnt ashame. on the contray . it's the interesting thing.LOL

Good thing the names i chose weren't taken . rebel_woman06 at Bubblews and SIMPLYD here . So , i chose to make them appear both on my profile .

I would be annoyed not being able to use my nickname, this is the same I am using for at least 5 years on different sites.

But the same to any and all sites you join? l want to be able to join any and every site,now ,10 years to come,10 years ago with the same nick name

I used a different online username when I found out another blogger uses the same but hers has a capital first letter of "@simplewoman." the one I used in Bubblews.

They are not trying to use your username,they are only using the name of their choice.
