Discussion not posting....

I tried to post my intro, but it seems not to be uploading for some reason. Just wondering, is there any way to post other than the "Discuss" box that pops open? Any troubleshooting suggestions for a newbie? UPDATE: I decided to just retry by pasting the original post in a new discussion box. Thankfully, it worked! Not sure if there's something I did or didn't do that impacted on my ability to post, so feedback is still welcome Thanks!

The only way to post a discussion is through the "Discuss" box. May be it was only a glitch, or you forgot the title and so it did not post.

@Ruby3881 I believe it was a glitch. No, this never happened to me. l write using a desktop computer and I use Chrome as browser.

There was definitely a title & also tags. I wondered if I had written too much, but the exact same post worked later. I guess it was just a glitch... Has that ever happened to you here, Anna?

@LadyDuck I am also using a desktop computer and Chrome. I suspect it was just a chance thing...

I also tried several times to post my latest discussion. My page was on banks/discussions, and when I placed the page on my own wall, and posted, it was a success.

I also had success when I tried posting from a different page. I guess the system just needed a new set of instructions....

myLot is particular what is posted.Perhaps they did not like anything that you said about you here and on second thoughts they let it pass

I didn't really figure out what the problem was, but I tried a second time & it worked. I was just afraid to end up with two copies, as there was no way to cancel the first discussion, other than closing the box when it got stuck.
