Mango juice from home grown mangoes

I had mentioned that we had plucked some mangoes some time ago and had kept them for ripening. They are now ready for consumption although some had to be thrown away.
These mangoes known as Bennet Alphonso are one of the best varieties available here.
I have prepared juice and preserved it for future consumption.
Have a sip. It is chilled and ready

Everyone sings the praises of fruits but there are so many of us who are allergic to some fruit or the other
I am allergic to citrus fruits and anything sour.

@Ruby3881 The brand is known as tiger. It is a liquid preservative. Just a little not even a teaspoon for l litre of juice. I have been using it for years for my other juices such as cherry, gooseberry and so on.

Yes. I added some sugar syrup and a bit of preservative. It stays that way for long.

@allknowing I'm curious to know what sort of preservative you use to help the juice last longer.

Was it sweet enough? Would you have liked it without the chill?

We have another variety that is yellow inside. Sad that you cannot have mangoes.

The only problem is plucking them. They should not be dropped as they rot before they get ripe and that is what happened this time. I had to throw away quite a few of them. We are going to chop the trees so that they are at a convenient height.

They should be costing more.
After having our fill I make this juice to be had throughout the year.

@Ruby3881 I do not freeze the juice. It is kept in the lower portion of the fridge. It lasts as long as I want it. It does not ferment.

That is so nice you have your own mangoes. I like mangoes and they are very tasteful. Since you have so many mangoes, besides making the juice, perhaps you can consider to make the mango ice cream. I tried to make it at home in the past.

I have done that and also I freeze the juice in thin plastic bags from where you suck out the juice.

@allknowing Because of that you can taste the juice so early.

It is odd that one of my mango trees yielded so early. No one else as them.
