Do You Like Your Own Smile In Photos? / myLot

I don't like my smile in photos and find it hard to get the smile right when I am posing! This is why I much prefer natural shots instead of ones which requires me to stare at the camera and wait for the flash to make my eyes automatically shut!! I think my teeth are a bit wonky too so it makes my smile not appear as nice as I would like. What about you guys do you like your smile on photos or do find it hard smiling when posing?

Yes, I definitely love my smile in my photos. My boyfriend loves to capture a photo of me. Most of the times he will take a photo of me secretly while I am smiling. I also love my smile more when my teeth get fixed by braces.

Some people are naturally good at posing and smiling for the camera...I am the opposite!!

@gudheart Yes, I understand. There are also times I feel it is awkward to smile. And the result? Not satisfying.

I think not only my smile but my whole face. I am not pretty in the standards of beauty and i can say that I am really ugly that is why I hate photos. and that is why I only have few of them and most of them are ugly one. :(

I prefer to take my own pictures because otherwise I feel awkward and yes I am not sure what to do with my mouth. I hate when the flash goes off as well because you automatically shut your eyes and looks so wonky.

@gudheart I have a picture of myself from this years ago when I was out with friends. I sort of just made a funny face because I knew I would not like the picture anyway. When I saw The result I giggled and said that was my best picture yet haha

I think I look better with a smile. This is why most of the time I will keep a smile when I am taken a photo. I seldom will make weird facial looking because I don't find it beautiful

I hate forced contrived supermodel smiles that look as if the posuer has an inverted coat-hanger in their mouth and too many teeth - my smiles are rare and slight.

@gudheart,They say my face is not photogenic,although I don't look so bad.While someone takes my photo,I become over conscious of my face.And I don't think you can smile when you are over conscious of yourself.

I don't consider myself very photogenic too, i don't know what are the best angles in my face.. I always pose the same

Yes, I like my smile and I like in also in photos... not in selfies, because you know that the too close photo make your teeth look weird. I think you know this.
