I am so glad it is April 2nd

Go ahead - ask me why. I think if I saw one more discussion with the title -April Fool's Day I would have screamed! Not only here but on Facebook and even on our local TV channel. The news team fooled of their own which made him look rather stupid. The one that I found quite disgusting was one on Facebook saying that an active volcano has been discovered in the Smoky Mountains...it went on to say that park rangers would give out gas masks to visitors! Can you image - people fell for it. Anyway, it's nice to be reading 'other things' today, thanks!

Good day Abby. I can feel your relief. I am over playing those games as well. Playing the fool can be so crazy.

Wow you really had some April Fool experiences. I barely noticed the day being foolish.

One year my co-workers thought it cute to add hot pepper to a pot of coffee. I'm allergic. I became suspicious because they never made coffee for my arrival before. I could have spent that April 1st in the hospital.

@AbbyGreenhill When they changed the payment to $1 I quickly stopped reading posts on the subject.

It sure did and I have to wonder how it will hit tourism since some may never realize it was a joke.

Over for another year... in my family, it was dad that always came up with silly little things to do. The nasty pranks... they just aren't funny!!

I was never into it and very seldom did anyone try to pull one on me.

Some of the April Fools jokes I saw on Facebook were so outlandish, that I just ignored them. I don't know how anyone could believe them.

I had not heard the one about a volcano in the Smokies. I dare say, volcanic activity there ceased about a half a billion years ago.

The smoky's really do smoke. The second home we owned in TN was high on a ridge and we had a beautiful view of the mountains and we could see the 'smoke' rise in the morning. Blue smoke - that's what the Indians called it and thus the name the Smoky's.
