Public Bathrooms

I want to share my horrifying Target bathroom experience. Well, Ill keep it short. I went to Target yesterday and ended up trying to use one of their bathrooms.
Omg, what an awful and scarring experience! Each stall had something wrong with it - stuff still in the toilet, ON the toilet or paper towel stuffed in the toilet. Gross! What inspires people to not flush when using a public restroom?
I avoid public bathrooms like the plague and if I do have to use them I squat. Even though i haveheard there are more germs on a doorknob than a toilet.
Do you have any bad experiences to share? Or any public bathroom rituals?

It's really hard to use public toilets. I'd rather go with the paid ones or those asking for donations since they are cleaner.

Like you, I avoid public restrooms at all costs and never need them when normally out. But when traveling on vacation, then it gets occasionally unpleasant. I have had to use a port-o-potty!

@JohnRoberts yes you may get in trouble for defacating behind a tree. Lol. I ghess if you gotta go you gotta go...Lol!

I hate using public bathrooms i try to avoid them if i can and just wait until I get home. But when I'm at work that's hard to do i just put toilet paper on the toilet if i have to go number 2 and then i normally just squat. Sometimes I just wait until I get home if i can.

Thats awful! I mean how does crap get on the walls? Is somekne sticking their hand in it and spreading it? Like ten yeats ago on my way up north I stopped at this rest stop. And I was horrified. I kid you not, someone had spread the word "HELLO" on the wall in poop. Omg!!

I can relate you, our public CR in our city is very dirty, it is full of toilet papers and also stuff and the odor of urine, it sucks. If I feel to pee, I just go to the mall, it is quite clean because there are plenty of employees who used to clean after using the CR.

Yea I mean how hard is it to flush. I avoid public bathrooms as well they are just plain nasty. I take a piece of toilet paper to open the door just the thought of all the germs makes me gag.

Never thought that even in the United States, people could be so lethargic so as not even to clean up after a dirty job. WE are used to it here in India and most avoid public toilets as far as possible.

The public bathrooms that are constantly being monitored by staff seem to be cleaner. Some people don't want to touch the flush lever....or if it flushes a little slowly they won't hold the lever that extra second or two.
As a rule Walmarts tend to have clean bathrooms.

The worst public bathroom experience I've ever had was in a small Walmart years ago.........beyond belief nasty!
