Curling up in a Ball and Hiding

Haven't been around the lot much these past few days. After I get out of work I am exhausted. Can't seem to want to do a much other than the housework when I get home.
Once dinner done and the dishes washed, I do a load of laundry and put my feet up. Watch the boob tube and try to keep my eyes open.
My body aches like I've been run over by a Mack truck. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's my Lyme. Just wish it would go away so I can get back to what I consider normal.
Now off to work hoping to have an uneventful day.

@jaboUK it was short and sweet. Need to start dinner soon and also the chocolate chip cookies I want to bake for hubby's lunches. Hopefully he won't eat them all tonight!

does lyme have a "season" (winter vs summer) or does it act up when you're stressed? i don't know anyone with lyme disease.

Once you have Lyme, you never get rid of it. It stays in your body. Doesn't know any particular season. You can be bit by a tick any time of year.

I am only doing my daily work routine, even though the first of the month I am doing a lot more. People get their Snap benefits and I do a lot of shopping, carrying heavy bags, etc.

@Marcyaz I spent 3 days in a row shopping for a client. I wish they didn't send me to do a months worth of shopping in such a short period of time.

Oh yes the first of the month when all the people come in for their grocery shopping and you carring heavy bags would make you tired.

I lay in my bed last night with the mattress warmer on 3. It took the aches and pains away and made it possible for me to fall asleep. I did feel better this morning.

@ElusiveButterfly I have found that using my heating pad on my back as I go to sleep just on low can make a huge difference the next day

@Jessicalynnt that is how the mattress warmer works. I turn it on about 30 minutes before I go to bed and when I am in bed, I turn it off.

Yesterday was brutal. I felt like leaving the housework for the next day, but just couldn't do it.

@Marilynda1225 I just work with the pain. It is easier to do fun things with pain than working though.

I am feeling much better. Some days my body really aches and I tend to neglect it.
