We Are Excited For Their Coming

Yesterday , our daughter called her father over the phone while in his work .
He told me just this morning about it . Our daughter told him that when she comes for a vacation on May 9-16 , her boyfriend would also be coming over .
Last summer , he also came with our daughter for a week and left our daughter to still have the rest of the vacation time with us . We were happy having him around the house because we genuinely like him for our daughter .
So , when the in-laws comes home from another province , this Friday evening , we will be planning what foods to cook when they will be coming over.
We want them to have a taste of the foods they seldom get to eat in Manila . 
I guess , everyone of us is excited when a guest we like, is coming over .

@hereandthere Our daughter knows that . They went to Donsol for Butanding the last time they were here in addition to visiting the nice places here .
I bet they will be going to Sorsogon to watch that place, lake wherein there are lots of fireflies at night .

No , no need for a party . Just simply cooking for viands they don't get to eat in Manila .

yes here also while in laws come all are very eager to see him and talk with him so lots of food to prepare and take care of it as not any mistake happen so i hope you enjoy with him lot ...

@ridingbet You are right , they still have to enjoy their single blessedness and enjoy their salaries when they become a doctor already .
So, getting married isn't in their bucket list yet .

Well, I dont know how would I react to that when my baby girl has grown up and informs us that she is bringing her boyfriend home. No, not anything else, but right now, I am very possessive and will feel jealous of them (these guests). But maybe my feelings will change for good as she grows up.
For the guests, I dont think I appreciate too many of them who arrive and play their cards.

I actually cried when she told us about her boyfriend when she was in third year college . But she promised to finish her studies and would still become a doctor (another 5 years that time ) .
So, now we really like the guy because we have been with him too whenever we go to Manila to visit our daughter . He is kind and responsible .

@SIMPLYD I can understand this "I actually cried when she told us about ..." better now. Earlier, I might have had lighter comments for that. But now that I am a dad, I feel and understand it better. But then, that is how things are and how life is.
I feel happy reading this - He is kind and responsible . - as that is what all parents would want. The spouse of our child, should be that way.

I know we will have a nice time having them for a short vacation . It's their vacation already because they will have their graduation then review for their Medical course .
That's good that you will also be visiting your mother in May . I am sure she too is excited .

I guess , all mothers and parents thinks that way whenever their children having their own lives already would visit . We think of their favorite foods to serve them .
And that is true , my daughter loves me more when i do that .

Yes it is. Its good to have company over to connect with and have fun socializing. It is good to get out of the same everyday routine. Enjoy

I am excited i would like for that day to come already . It's almost a year since she came over for a vacation .
Then after a few days they have gone , we will be attending our daughter's graduation in Medicine .
