It is a nice Sunday here, my friends, but the mighty sun seems to be sending out its scorching heat that I have some beads of sweat on my forehead, just above my upper lip, but no sweat in my underarms. It is extremely hot now, and the heat index is 39degrees. It is not yet the most of this summer, so I expect hotter days ahead. Well, on the other side of the globe, there might be a different scenario. Hurricanes and blizzards may be happening; indeed the effect of climate change. So, how do you keep yourself cool? And by the way, our national fist Manny Pacquiao won by unanimous decision and got the Welterweight championship belt from Timothy Bradley again. Have you watched the fight? We did.

@toniganzon our provider asked for an additional payment of P60 with the regular payment so everybody watched the live fight. at first, we disagreed but then knowing that was the last fight of Pacman, we said yes, so we watched it live. I and my sister were the only ones shouting at home every time a punch of Pacman reached Tim's face

This is certainly not a problem that I am faced with because it is far from hot over here in England. If you are classing 39 degrees as hot then you are obviously referring to 39C, whereas over here it is currently 6C.

yes it is in Centigrade or Celsius degrees of temperature measurement. 6 degrees Celsius is a very cold temperature to those who stay in tropical countries like our country.

@DesirousDreamer oh, i am so sorry, my friend. I forgot you are from USA. yes, and it is so interesting to see a world champion get into his knees in a fight. well, Pacman also fell face down when he fought Marquez.

I'm not a boxing enthusiast Ate but I did check who won As for keeping myself cool, our AC is working a little extra this summer. Plus, our fans are also working non-stop during daytime. We have 5 fans open at the same time just to combat the heat.

@ridingbet I also drink lots of water too Ate and I tell my kids to do the same. Heat stroke is not something to mess with. My father suffered from one many years ago while he was tending to his garden. Fortunately, he didn't hit his head on a rock when he lost consciousness.

We have not the problem for the moment. Here we have only two hot months, July and August, but if you stay inside with the windows open it's not a terrible heat. No, I have not watched Pacquiao, but I do not like this sport.

so the hot months are coming in 3 months time. Boxing is indeed a very physical sport and you will not want to see the grimaces of the boxers when they are hit elsewhere

Congratulations to him. No, I do not watch boxing. Yes, we've had some strange weather lately. Not sure whether we're going to get rain or snow these days. I'll be glad when the weather settles down and becomes seasonal. I keep myself cool with fans. Though right now it's a heater to stay warm.

Yes, I just watch it. Those two knock down of Bradley was very conclusive. But the fight ended on a sad note when the interviewer ask Manny if this was his last fight and Pacquiao answered "Yes" without a second thought.

pacquiao is already old as regards his age in fighting his opponents in the ring. I hope he wins the senatorial election; i prefer him than Alma M., who has so many flaws when interviewed by Karen D.
