There has been some discussion in comments about cake mix cookies.
I thought I would write up a quick post and share the recipe.
Growing up, my mom made them all the time. I had no idea she had gotten the recipe somewhere.
You can make them with any flavor of cake mix. The best ones I've ever made, I made with a French Vanilla cake mix. I took them to a quilt guild luncheon and everyone loved them!
You just need 1 cake mix, 2 eggs and 1/3 cup of oil. You can mix in other ingredients if you want like nuts or chips. I never have.
Just drop by spoonfuls and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
Let me know if you try them and what you think.

It is easy, which is why I make them so often. I stock up on cake mixes when I can if they are on a good sale.

This is so funny. My mom used to make these all the time when I was a child. Just goes to show that good ideas tend to stick around.

I will have to try these. The muffins I made yesterday from a cake mix were good. It sounds actually better than paying for the little pouches of cookie mix at the store. Homemade is even better, but sometimes we get in a hurry.
