Road Works, still at it

Yesterday, as I went past, I thought they would be finished by evening as the holes had been backfilled and everything looked ready for the road surface to be replaced. Staggering around town, doing the shopping, this morning I see they are still on the job at the road works, they started over a week ago. I say on the job, but I didn't actually see anyone around. Still, finished tonight, for sure!

@LadyDuck I fear they will just move the hole somewhere else. I am sure there is only one hole in existance and they just move it!

We have been held up for 5 or 10 minutes at a time every time we go to our nearby town. However they are getting to the end of it all now which is a blessing.

But I think you have far far better policies of construction as ours. Here we get messy surroundings if any construction going on.
