Chocolate Bubble Gum or Chewing Gum!!!

I was wondering why no one has come up with a brand of chewing gum that is chocolate flavoured before? everyone loves chocolate right, so I am sure it would do well as long as they use real chocolate or no artificial flavourings. I would certainly try it as I am sure it would have less calories than a chocolate bar and it would help me resist eating chocolate bars as often. What do you think of this idea? Chocolate chewing gum sound nice or not? Worth a try right?

I have t chewed gum in years and years (dentures) so they can flavour chewing gum with anything they want. I'll still pass.

Wrigleys do a mint choc chip flavoured gum you can get on amazon. They must do a standard chocolate as well I would have thought!!!

@gudheart No idea!! It sounds pretty disgusting to me but then again I'm old school when it comes to chewing gum. I'm pretty sure when I was a lad (1970s) you get a chocolate flavoured bubblegum. Not sure who made it though.

I was thinking the same. All they really need to add is coca powder I think.

I like how chocolate melts in my mouth, so I probably wouldn't enjoy chocolate flavored gum. Give my peppermint or spearmint chewing gum and I am good.

@gudheart I don't know if chewing gum would reduce my chocolate intake., I would still consume one of my favorite comfort foods.. lol

I know what you mean. I would like the chewing gum option as a method to reduce my choc intake

I won't be surprised if it exists already as they seem to come up with all kinds of flavors these days and chocolate is a pretty basic flavor.

It would be interesting to say the least. I wonder how closely they could make it taste like chocolate. Maybe there is a reason no one has made it.

I can't possibly imagine it being anything I'd want to put in my mouth! Good chocolate needs a certain amount of fat, that isn't going to be in bubble gum. Even those Neapolitan taffy things have the most disgusting, watered down flavour in their chocolate ribbon. Nope! I wouldn't even try it....

I was thinking the same as chocolate tastes nice because of the fat. Although I like low calorie hot chocolate and that hardly any fat.

@gudheart I imagine that hot chocolate has something in it to compensate for the removed fat. Often, that's sugar in a commercial product. When we bake at home, it's usually a fruit like mashed banana or applesauce.

Although I like chocolate, however, chocolate flavored chewing gum seems to be strange for me. I don't really like it. As we like to have fresh breath after having the chewing gum. But chocolate doesn't seem to have this effect. And I think it is also too sweet.

I sometimes have chewing gum for the taste of the flavours like strawberry etc. It can make for a nice change to the minty range.

If you forget that is a chewing gum, and you swallow it, you will need to go to the hospital! I think many parents will bring their kids to the hospitals because kids eat them as chocolate.
