Getting new, keeping the old.

May have one of the latest, but i keep one the oldest.
Years ago, nokia was the most.popularized phone. Quite expensive that not all can afford to buy one.
Then, evolution of phones happen.
From the big to getting smaller then getting bigger again.
But i keep both--old and new, big and small.
The old and small one is something i used.when i am outside, that snatchers won't give any interest on it.
During brown outs, the flash light is useful, and the battery has a longer life.
With the new one, the phablet (phone and tablet), i used it for here, surfing the net and taking pictures. And, what else, music streaming, i can.draw.too, lol.
Just like what do we have now.
We want progress, we want new.things, but do we have to throw or destroy or forget the old.ones too?
Is is hard to keep both?

i refuse to give'p my ol' nokia - 'tis goin' 'bout 11 years now? not's fancy's the one ya show, but a flip phone. i'll not get 'nother 'til it breathes its last breathe. the prices fer phones here'n the u.s. goes beyond utterly ridiculous 'n i've no need fer all those fancy gadgets.

@Lucky15 last time i was'n the store (no longer there coz at&t bought'em out...much to my disgust), all the employees come hoverin' 'round when i took't outta its case. seems those young whipper snappers'd only heard'f those "ancient phones" 'n were quite shocked to actually see one. they say they didn't last'n the market long due to the batteries explodin'. hmm, mine works jest fine?

Nokia is a good phone. I buy cheap Nokia phone at the year 2009 and it still can use. Not like modern phone right now especially China brand only can use around 1 year to 2 years old after that start to have problem. I think not need to throw or destroy old phones. Can keep it as collection like stamp collection and we also can show to the next generation how old phone look alike.

I think we still have a certain phone like that here, but the call option doesn't work and you can only text on it.

I have a couple of old flip phones. They're tiny and hard to text on, but helpful in an emergency.

I have an iPhone 4s, I replaced my iPhone 4 but I didn't get rid of it. It is a great extra camera and it can use internet so I can use it without it being a phone. I figure it is worth more to me than I would get for a trade-in.

My phone is quite old and I haven't upgraded in years. I don't really need an updated phone with all the bells & whistles

No, it's not hard to keep both. It's better to keep the old and the new one. For me, when I went out for shopping, I used the old one, if in case I met a hold up or snatching, he can bring the old. I'll use the new one when I'm only at home. So, keep them both.
