I rejected my Jamba Juice Smoothie!

I am not a person who rejects food/drinks, or asks for replacements because I'm afraid of my food being spit in or handled without care, and who knows what. (Totally different discussion that I've talked before in the past). But this evening was my first time rejecting my Jamba Juice Smoothie I ordered. Well, not at first though. ... I got my Jamba Juice Smoothie, observed that it was extremely watery and walked to the car. I told my boyfriend to try it given that it was watery. And, he told me it was way too watery and to go back in. I went back in and politely told the guy who made my drink that the smoothie was too watery and demonstrated. He kindly remade my smoothie and when he finished blending (as I watched him the entire process), he asked me if that consistency was better? Yes, it was! It was actually a smoothie and for the inconvenience he upgraded my cup from a medium to a large. I was also able to keep the watered down smoothie "juice" too. That was really nice of him. Have you ever rejected your drinks due to the taste or texture?

I love that Jamba Juice spot. I think they have new workers. I've been there for years and it wasn't bad like that before.

@infatuatedbby - This might sound lame, but I've never been to Jamba Juice.

@teamfreak16 Really! I've been going since a child. Do you have any smoothie places? But then again you can make it at home easily too.

I usually just drink it or toss it out. When I get a drink on the go I don't have time to go back to complain.

@ElusiveButterfly Yeah lol, but I had a coupon/gift card so I didn't pay anything but without that ~ It'd be $6!!

I wasn't in a rush. It was 8pm just wanted to enjoy a nice smoothie Figured a $6 drink should be good. Though I had a coupon and gift card so it was free afterwards but still. It was watery like juice. However there has been instances where I'm in a rush and would toss it out half way.

That is cool they let you keep the watered down smoothie as it would have just gotten thrown away anyway. It sounds like they used to much ice that had melted so it was mostly water.

@infatuatedbby ahh that is an excellent idea. There is something called bubble tea that I want to take my kids to try this summer. I have to look up where it is sold.

I haven't. Good thing they replaced it and made it even bigger.

I really don't prefer to, but it was way too watery like the constancy of juice. But it was nice of him to not complain or try to complain with me - meaning he knows he was at fault. And it was nicer to get a even larger size complimentary.

So far , i haven't experienced that . Indeed as i have seen in some shows , some waiters would spit on the food of a person who complains about what was served them .

I agree - I wrote about that in the past about not wanting to complain but since I can see clearly what the man is doing with my smoothie so I figured why not!

@SIMPLYD Yes, if they go in the back without me seeing - I would just consider it a lost. As I do not trust it.

@infatuatedbby Yes, it has to be done that way , while you are waiting in front of the one making it .

That was a good service, he possibly made something wrong and he realized that you were right.

I agree I think he did know he was at fault. He looked new as he was pouring my drink out he asked how was the consistency now? It was more like a smoothie rather than a watery juice.
