My husband would love to have a stable of horses. He often tells me that when we get our own place he wants enough land to be able to have horses. He loves to ride. His grandfather had horses and he often rode them when he was a child and teenager. He has lived on farms most of his life and is a true country boy. I have told him that if we can afford to keep horses we will do it. Personally, I will not be joining him for a ride. Since I was a child of 10, I have feared horses. From afar they are fine, but up close, I sweat and shake.

I hope you take some pictures of your adventure. I went horse, back riding only once and my career came to an end. I survived but I was scared stiff.

I never learned to ride horses. The only time, I sat in the back of one was when a friend invited me to his ranch. We rode for four or more miles, after which I ended unable to stand up traight on my two feet. Enjoy your day!

Hope you had a wonderful day! As you know, I go horseback riding early every Sunday morning, before I go to church or even have breakfast. It is a wonderful way to start the day!

I hope you had a great time riding horses. I have always wanted to do that but I am terrified of horses, their size scares me. But their beautiful!

Enjoy your ride Dianne and be careful. I have not a good feeling with horses, the one of my grandfather has bitten my ankle when I was a teenager.

That's great and hope you have good company (sounds as though you do) because I like my own company and prefer being indoors to being out there with stupid power-trippers. Of course I'll be hiking today.

That sounds like fun, I love to ride but my hubs hates it, he has no rhythm and you can imagine how that ends up!! lol

I tried riding in a carabao but not to a horse, I'm afraid to ride a horse because it runs fast not like in carabao, you can hardly seen it running.

I know you will have a great time. The last time I was on a horse was in the Dominican Republic about 20 years ago. I loved riding when I was younger and had my own horse but not so much now...

If the horses are well trained, and no one does anything foolish, then all should be fine. Have fun, and don't worry.
