Sunshine Girl - Summer is the Season

The "Favourite Season" challenge always seems to find its way to my fellow followers when they are smiling about the warmer weather embracing the Norther Hemisphere . . . kind of odd dont you think?
Rest assured that the people below the equator dont really mind as we have short winters that dont leave us behind doors and piles of snow covered drive-ways.
Summer is my favourite season too, and I am considered amongst my friends as a "Sunshine Girl" because when the smallest of clouds appear in the sky, or a drop of rain falls, my mood swings 180* to
"Moderate to high Moods swings with a possibility of depression"
However all that being said, I must say that after a winter stint in Ireland and Europe, I have a different approach to our dull winter's in Africa - I actually appreciate them more and have found comfort in what seems to be "DEAD DAYS" and plan adventures that one can only do in the winter seasons here. Our Game Reserves are the best seen in winter as the grasses are not as high and the Animals can be seen easier. Picnic's dont rain out, hikes and trials are arid, but easier. Bowling with a double set of pantyhose (that is wearing them) comes to mind as well and not that much suntanning or burn to worry about. Snug evenings with soup and movies - that is my favourtie.
So every season gives one something to enjoy - we need to just find it!
Iniatiated by @jstory and passed on by @just4him and now I have given you my two cents worth on my favourite season.
Happy Monday to you all - Keep it real!

I could be jealous about your winters if I didn't love a lot of snow. I get depressed when it doesn't snow and my mood swings 180* when it does. Summer here is too hot to handle, for me that is. I wouldn't want to live anywhere where it's even hotter. I've been reading those posts from the Philippines and their power blackouts. I'll keep what I have and pray for an early winter.
Going on safari in winter there must be a lot of fun.

We do more in the winter here, on dry days at least. Summers in Texas are...miserable hot.

We are on the summer season here in our place but it's not a good season for me because the temperature reached a heat index up to 48 degrees Celsius. Very hot and irritating.

I like Summer too. But my favorite season is Spring because flowers are blooming then.

I like all the seasons, but I think the Autumn is my favourite. I like your photo. Yesterday when we were down by the lake, people were starting to put their boats in the water. Most of the sailboats in the marina had been uncovered, and people were getting them ready.
