I haven't been on long today as I had a doctor's appointment this morning at 10 am. By the time the doctor did all the test and examines and I picked up some pain pills it was noon. Came home and fixed something to eat and then came on the computer to finish up the notifications and to see what had been posted. My blood pressure is a little low so I am to take a pill for that, the pain on my right side I decided no Xray as why does it matter what is causing it. I also had that second pneumonia shot and I took a prescription in for the Shingles shot which I can pick up in about 5 weeks.

There must be a reason or it wouldn't hurt. It's going to take that long to get a shingles shot? I thought they did those at your local Walgreen's.

I know it is either arthiris or my cancer. I have to wait to get the shingels shots because I just had the pneumonis shot (the new one) and you have to wait 4 to 5 weeks before you can receive the shingle shot.

Many times I am my own doctor. If I wasn´t, I´d have to be at the hospital all year. And at my expense.

@Hate2Iron I would pay that just to not get the shingles and I know my mother had the shingles and was in a great deal of pain.

@Marcyaz It would probably be worth it. I had one friend that contracted it and the pain was unbearable.

@Marcyaz Only because I don't understand much about it but do you mean a Shingles shot to prevent yourself from getting it or is it because you already have it? I actually still don't really know what Shingles is actually. I really hope that pain has gone!

I want to go to that doctor's office, he looks like MY kind of doctor. They have pills for low blood pressure? I knew they had them for high, but this is the first I've heard of for low.

My doctor told me to cut the pills in half as at one time my BP was high then she also wrote a script for 5 mgs.

@DianneN You have a shot when you are around 65 and they used to say you didn't need another shot. Now they have this one that is said to be better and so I have had my second pneumonia shot. Thanks I hope to feel better soon.
