Sometimes when I am busy with my work, I just get up, turn on my computer and start working straight away. I think it's not a good habit, but I still do it sometimes. I'd like to start my day with a meditation, then read some inspiring or motivational articles/books, plan for the day, then only start with my work. Taking the time to read always inspires me and makes my day feel great as well. I have to always remind myself to stop and smell the roses. Do you always take time to read, especially in the morning?

Not really. For me it's usually in the evening since i'm always in a hurry in the morning. And usually my morning starts very early.

I think you are also busy with exercising, right? I think exercising or doing yoga helps us to clear our mind and keep us calm as well.

@toniganzon Yes, I plan to resume going to the park every morning, at least for a walk together with my children first. Then when I am more available, I wish to go for morning jogging.

@kaka135 True, especially yoga. Exercise in any form produces happy hormones.

It seems today we tend to spend our time on making money or for our family. I seldom will sit down and read. But if I go to the library with my son, then I will find a nice cooking book as it will give me inspirations to make delicous food.

It's good that you take the opportunity to read the book you like when going to the library. I still think it's good for us to spend some time on ourselves, though it might not be easy to find the time to do so.

That's really good. Yes, I'd like to keep that habit of reading at least a few pages or a few articles per day.

I understand that. I am trying to find time to do so too. We will be able to do so if we make it a habit. Let's do it if you really want to.

This year I haven't taken much time to read. Usually by now I've read at least 15 books. I think I am still on book 6. I just have been more active online lately then reading. My book shelf keeps loading up with free books but I don't get much time to read them. Now with my man moving out I will have more time to read.

I always read from a printed book at night in bed. During the day, I read different topics on the Internet and do a lot of research.

That's good! I always like to keep the habit of reading before I sleep. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Moreover, nowadays I am reading bedtime stories to my children more often. But, I still like to at least read a few pages from my own book, and my children read theirs before I tell them stories.

I only read news in the morning, but not read any decent books in a few months. Just been so busy and too tired to focus on reading at night.

Thanks. I like to read in the evening, or before I sleep too. But the morning reading gives me some inspiration of the day.
