Sometimes, a new plan is just needed

After feeling overwhelmed and tired, then I took a break, and I reviewed and revised my plan yesterday. I am feeling more relaxed these two days. Yesterday, I was told there's a change to my new project. It was scheduled to be a 3-month project, but it's better if I can finish it in one month. I don't want to stress myself too much, but this is certainly a good project for me, and it will bring good money for my family too. So, I will just need to make a new plan, and see how I can make things work nicely, and not to get stressed too. What do you usually do when something interrupts or distract you from your original plan? Picture from pixabay: I like this - just discard the old ones, and write a new plan.

I usually feel that there is a reason. Sometimes I will regroup and go over my plan. I am an organized person so if I feel that it isn't I will re-do things.

That's good. Yes, now I believe everything happens for a reason, and it's always good for us, no matter how we see it at this moment.

@kaka135 ....We need to give fate the opportunity to roll out what the future may behold.

I hope your new plan works out well! If there is room to revise the the original plans to make things better, faster, or run smoother - then why not switch gears. Anything to lessen the stress and help you reach your goals as soon as possible ! For me, I suppose it depends on what was changed from the original plan, but I'm pretty flexible and like to think I go with the flow (though it's not always the case). Best of luck to you!!

Thanks. Yes, I am trying to lessen the stress and also see how I can achieve what I want. I am quite flexible too, but I am still learning how to manage the stress. I am quite surprise this time I can manage it quite well.

@kaka135 Perhaps that comes with age (not to say you're old ) and experience ....you're able to handle more stresses now and manage it all better!

That sounds like a lot of work. Putting three months worth of work into one month instead sounds like a lot to handle. I hope it goes well.

They say plans can be modified or renewed but I always feel guilty or something and resist it. Mostly likely I'm wrong on that one!

I hope I would do what you are doing and just write a new plan. Good luck with the project.

If all of a sudden the plan does not push through, i usually feel bad and sometimes react furious. But it all depends on what kind of event. But then, since there is nithing I can do, so I will just have to adjust and come up with a new one just like what you do.

To be honest, I'm the type of person who gets anxious or even angry when my original plan doesn't push through. But then I try to calm myself down and look for a workaround. If I can still do the old plan, I just have to remove the distractions. But if I can't, then I'll have to start from scratch. Good luck on your project! Hope everything goes well.

I panic!!!! I don't, I just have to do my best to get rid of the distraction then, if not then i just work as hard as i can to finish what i have to. But of course that gives me a lot of stress.

I can change direction quite easily so it doesn't usually faze me. Hope you can manage the new plan.

We can change a plan if we know the replacement is better.I get distracted but when it yields positive response, it is ok!
