Happy birthday Adolf Hitler?

Yep. It's his birthday today.
But unlike almost every other well known person, no one is posting birthday wishes to him on facebook.
I see them going out to lots of other dead people, but nope...no mention of him.
And of course, I understand that.
It's not like he was anyone's favorite uncle...in fact, I don't think he was one, although I guess he could have been...he had siblings...but I just can't see Uncle Adolf.
In fact, I don't think I want to wish him a 'happy' birthday either.
But yeah...April 20th...Hitler's birthday.
Let's hope we don't get another one like him...

@JolietJake Let's hope so, because when they are not yet in charge, they promise a lot and they wear their lamb dressing, the wold is inside.

@jolietjake I'm glad my granddaughter was born yesterday and not today then. The British Queen is also probably glad that her birthday is tomorrow rather than today.

I guess today is some kind of special day for 'weed' tokers, 420 is associated with their culture for some reason, but I realized a few years ago that his birthday is today as well...for better or worse...

I'm agree with you on this one and you got a good point there. While keeping hush shush dont mention his name-mumble on and not talking about him we are slightly doing the worst we can. We are forgetting him. Somethings are not meant to forget and I think his cruelty is one of them. I think we forget his actions we might endanger us for an other like him.
Never forget the mistakes you have done but learn from them.

I agree, there seems to be a 'turtle' air about it...if we hide in our shell we can pretend it isn't there.
And that could be the worst thing we do...

@Varjokani I stopped associating with a guy that I saw post 'Hitler had the right idea' in a Yahoo group...he evidently didn't realize people he actually knew in real life would see it. He tried to explain it away as 'joking' and I told him I didn't care, I was done with him.

@JolietJake exactly. And since we are doing this already now we have many teens who go to streets yelling "Hitler was right! Kill all Jews" etc and in some countries it is starting to look to be dangerous to be a Jew again. And I don't like that one bit that history seems to be repeating itself again.
I so wanna hit my wall on the wall and scream how stupid we are. How we never learn from our mistakes and and again and again forget them.

We don't want another Apolph Hitler. Hopefully remembering the horror of war might prevent another war of that magnitude. Too bad human nature causes history to repeat itself over and over again.

Hitler seems to get trivialized these days a bit...I've seen people attempt to compare Trump to him...Trump is just a rich guy with bad (to me) ideas...he's nothing like the monster Hitler was...
