Skinny Jeans Syndrome

Who knew that wearing those "skinny jeans" that hug the legs and the rest of a woman's anatomy to tightly could be hazardous to one's health?
I saw a medical column indicating that a woman senior citizen had burning pain in her hips and throbbing leg muscles at night for months. She finally went to the doc and x-rays revealed that the jeans were the cause.
It seems to me though that a person would have to be pretty skinny to wear the darn things in the first place.
Do you own any skinny jeans? Are they comfortable?
Wait, do guys wear them too??

@JamesHxstatic If at least they looked great, I could understand, but those skinny jeans are so ugly.

I am skinny so I wear skinny jeans. I look like I'm swimming in denim if they are too big. LOL

I understand, I cannot wear "relaxed fit" jeans or cords, not enough behind to fill up the fabric.

Let's just say I hope I never see a guy in them. I like slim fitting pants, but not skin tight, especially at my age!

I have some that are sort of skinny jeans i guess. i mean, the legs are very narrow and fitted. but there is an elasticity in them, so that they are fine on comfort. and i'm not skinny. :-)

As long as there is a little stretch, they might be comfortable.

i humored the daughter a few years back'n actually tried to try a pair'f those'n. felt like i was puttin''n a boa constrictor'n i was its lunch! no sir, i'll pass. i'm kinda fond'f what lil circulation i seem to've these days.
i reckon 'tis kinda like wrangler jeans fer gals. seems the whole worlds gone a tad bonkers 's they only carry "slim fit". i asked the gal't the store how anybody'd any legs 'fter sittin' a saddle fer half a day'fter wearin' such. she jest rolled her eyes 'n told me that 'twas the style.
yes sir, i waltzed o'er to the fella's department 'n got me a couple pairs'f britches i could breathe/bend/sit'n comfortably. 'n to answer yer query - indeed they do. ya know, coz 'tis fashionable? kinda like those 6+ inch heels those gals where. whate'er the designers want to torture 'em with, they buy/wear so's they can be trendy.
gimme comfort any ol' day o'er bein' "fashionable"!

Yes, guys wear them, but I don't. I am into comfort. These jeans would hurt my knees. So I am not likely to buy them. Why? If I want someone to see my legs, I would wear those tights I have seen women wear in public, but maybe not. They probably hurt the knees too.

I have heard of guys wearing them. I did have one pair of skinny jeans, but I gave them away because the zipper wouldn't work right. I don't wear leggings or jeggings either.
