I don't write the guidelines

But I do point them out to people. And this still seems to make people mad. *I* don't delete discussions. I may tell you why your discussion probably got deleted. And lots of people thank me for it. And you're welcome. But there are always those that take it completely wrong. Will I stop? Probably not. Will I get hated by some for it? Probably yes. Life goes on...and so do the guidelines.
This is where you will find out what kinds of behavior are accepted and unaccepted on myLot. When in doubt, remember the Golden Rule!

They are sensible, solid guidelines and if people can't follow them they need reminding - and you're just the one to do it!

With our (not so) hidden moderator here at the moment, I think a few members think I am the one deleting their discussions right after I message the guidelines to them...I got another block from someone for doing it a little bit ago

I like that you do that. I dont have enough energy or motivation to point out to people the Guidelines. Plus a lot of newbies dont even know it exists until someone brings it up (or so it seems).
