Or to the transfer station as they call it. The shed was a total of eight loads taken in the last two days. No one got hit in the head. No one stepped on nails. The moss growing on the old wooden shingles looked like a green sculptured carpet. Many hands meant lighter work for my son. I am thankful.

That is good. You can have a great start to this new piece of available land.

Good that your son had help with dismantling the shed and hauling it off in his truck.

In a few weeks we'll be renting a dumpster to clean out some of our junk. We've got a couple old sofa sets in the front room taking up space, and an entire garage jam packed with trash.. and soon it will be all gone!

sounds like you've been busy.... but I like big jobs like that ... where you can see what you've achieved... I'm glad there were no injuries... not even blisters ...?

One Spring Project done, many more to go... Atleast it seems the weather held up for it.

At least you got the shed to the dump and it is gone.

My husband has to go to the dump every Saturday too. We are restricted to 4 bags per week and cannot take building materials such as shingles.

That is a lot of loads. I'm sure you're all glad it is finished.
