Last April 22 was Earth Day, and we know it is being observed yearly to inculcate concern for the protection of the environment; the earth as a whole.
In our little ways, we can help like saving water by using it wisely. Now I am conscious of recycling water because it seemed the underground water is getting scarce. I reuse the water from dishwashing to water some plants or wash the floor map we use to clean the doggie's urine.Sometimes I use it to clean the garage floor.
It can be observed that dirty or not so potable water was pumped out of the deep wells, thus causing our filters to get so dirty and we have to change or clean it weekly. We could not drink it directly so we have to filter it once more or many of us buy bottled water.
How about you what have you contributed to save mother earth?

You are doing a good act for the earth; that is planting trees that give off oxygen and cools the environment. Yes, fixing leaking pipes or taps is good too to conserve water and save money for water bills.

I recently began planting some snake plant and a veggie moringa lately. then I started separating non biodegradable like cans, plastic bottles and bottles from the trash itself since it's too small. but i failed to do some more recycling, we just couldn't follow it my mother forgot about it.

That's a very good start. You can recycle your kitchen wastes like vegetable/fruit peels as fertilizer. I read that snake plants are good as indoor plant too and can be place inside bedrooms because it emits good gases at night/ cleans the air too.I also planted some in pots.

Doing little things can mean a lot for the environment. We hope so many people would do their share too.

Very nice, because rain water is the best for the plants and yes you can use it too for other cleaning purposes.

So nice, @jaboUK, by reusing water, we can help save underground water and make the flowers bloom too.

Oh yes, I don't know if other countries observe it too. We are in the Philippines and we are always a victim of calamities; as some say were due to climate change.

We recycle faithfully, drive an efficient car and plan errands so we don't drive as much, and added insulation to the house so the heat and AC is more efficient. There's more we can and will do. The little things make a difference.

Yes, little things can mean a lot if many people throughout the world will do it. Thanks for your response, @BettyB.
