Heat here is unbearable

I have never experienced such dry heat in years. Am busy drinking juices and water to quench the thirst throughout the day.
Preiti refuses to sleep on the rug, carpet or her bed. She prefers the plain floor which is cool. She is also losing her coat because of the weather. Hopefully she will get it back once it starts raining.
There is yet another month to go before rains set in. Not a good situation at all.
How's the weather out there?

i'd be choosin' that cool tile myself. the temps here've been most pleasant, the wind not so much. i can only hope that yer rains come soon, albeit'n moderation. 's dry'n hot's 'tis been'n yer neck'f the woods, a downpour might jest prove to be detrimental.

Because of the garden I do get out where I get some fresh breeze.

@allknowing Yes, the garden is one place where we can be when it's so hot .

well by now it is raining. but it has been getting hotter as it does in Florida. only problem is rain just makes it humid and not cool off. sadly

How can a room have no windows? I keep a lot of water for Preiti and that helps her a bit.

@Shiva49 That is in place in some areas but that will not help water reserves

We have always consistent weather but since the last couple of years it has become erratic.

it's actually raining here right now, but it's been extremely hot the past 2-3 days, even at night.
it doesn't feel cooler because it's like the heat from under the ground is being released by the rain.

I had a strange experience in Australia during our package holiday, in that when we least expected it would rain and the rain would last only for a few minutes.

Thanks allknowing for the article. I stay in Kolkata, already the temperature has gone to 40 degree centrigrade. It is very humid also. You stay in which part of India? The entire country is facing heat wave.
