The Storm is Over

Well, the worst part of the storm is over for us. The winds did blow pretty hard for a little while, but not as bad as they had predicted. There was and still is a lot of lightening, but not too bad. We didn't even go to the shelter! I am hoping everyone stays safe in Sherman, Texas. There is apparently a tornado hitting them right now! I thank God that there was not severe storms here in my area and that all my "kids" are safe. I hope all of you are out of harms way!

We are lucky not to have severe storms or earthquakes in our area, I am scared by natural disasters.

I am too although we have very few here. There is just something so powerful about them and humans are really powerless to do anything if they are caught without proper shelter.

@JudyEv They are very powerful and I am so shocked that so many people around her pay little attention to the weather when a storm is nearing. That is how most of the people die in tornadoes, they were not paying attention to the weather!

Yes,, @JudyEv Thankfully, we did get back in plenty of time. The storm didn't really start until after dark. I understood that it would start shortly after noon. I'm glad I was wrong.

Thank you, @MGjhaud Yes, we made it through the storm just fine. It wasn't as bad here as it was in other places. I looked outside this morning and there aren't even any tree limbs down.
