For the sake of the others from abroad who doesn’t know what a halo-halo is, please take a look at the picture I attached . So, the other Saturday when I was at my father’s house , visiting them , we ordered halo-halo from my sister’s eatery on the former garage of my father’s house , My parents had theirs with no sugar ( the helpers know that ) but of course , mine has . Instead , they just sweetened them with green stevia powder and enjoyed eating them . It’s so nice that they can still enjoy the halo-halo , even if its sugar has to be substituted with the green stevia powder. Do you have some restrictions on your foods ?

So you use that too . Do you have that plant in Sorsogon ? Of course , we can eat those , but we have to see to it that they're in moderation when eaten . By the way , when you came to Legazpi , did you eat halo-halo at DJC ? Oh , they got the most famous and delicious halo-halo .

@epiffanie Wow, that's a big one .and such a nice container ! Here what i see are those just in sachets . How i wish we have something big like that , so i think it will be economical than those in sachets . So , you ate at Bigg's . Yes they have halo-halo , but it's not as delicious as that of DJC . So next time when you come home try eating a DJC halo-halo .

@SIMPLYD no we don't have stevia plant over there in Sorsogon.. I love to grow some .. I tried growing stevia in a pot here in Au but I was not successful .. I will try again though.. But what I use is this one I have in the photo.. Oh by the way, my favourite halo-halo when we go back home there was at Biggs restaurant ..I love their their halo-halo because it's not that sweet..

I have no restrictions but sometimes I measure my rice. I am also not fond of putting lots of sugar in my halo halo, coffee and juice. But I love other sweet foods like chocolates and softdrinks. I take them in moderation though.
