Change of plans. Does it bother you?

Hi, mylotters.
Today I had a phone call from the aunt that was coming tomorrow for lunch. She said that she could not come as she had had some problems in the roof after the last rain and was expecting a worker to come and fix it.
Now I had invited my favorite cousin from San Fernando to come so that he could see our aunt. He has to travel to Santiago and he would come the day before (tonight) and stay maybe until Friday.
After I hung up, I called my cousin. He said that really he was all set to come so he did not mind coming even if my aunt did not show up.
That took a burden out of my heart. I was so happy to know that he would come anyway.
So now I will go to the super to buy some fruit juice for him as he does not drink. And maybe we could check on a nice movie at Netflix or talk until wee hours.

It´s always god to have visitors at home. Sorry to know you´re not having the visit of you aunt; however, your cousin´s visit may bring some good laughter into you life.

@quantum2020 We will do it. But as she wants me to cook the same dish I had for tomorrow, I will wait a bit before my next invitation. I don´t like to eat the same thing very often

As long as someone is respectful and lets me know something is changing I don't mind a change. It's when someone doesn't let you know and you have to track them down to find out something has changed that bothers me.
Glad you and your cousin are going to have a good time together-that's great! =)

I will have fun with my cousin. And in my aunt´s case, this was a special and mayor problem.
