The month of May

I can't believe it's already May. Yesterday was May Day. Happy Late May Day everyone!! My elementary school used to do a May Day dance. I don't know they still do. We would collect money (usually pennies) and the one who had the most got to be the prince/princess, or in the six grade king/queen. The other students would do a dance for them. I was runner up for queen in the sixth grade. Anyway, this month is going to be a little busy. May 8th is Mother's Day (next Sunday). My mother won't be here, but I sent her a card yesterday. I think this week Chris might be coming down. Then later this month, my best-friend's son has a birthday. I sent his birthday card (with 10 dollars in it) yesterday. And near the end of the month I will be seeing my mother.

May is my father's birth month and I'm not sure if my siblings are planning on a small gathering again to commemorate my late dad's birthday.

Also in my country the next Sunday is Mother's Day, I am going to see my mother in Italy on Thursday, she will be with my brother the next Sunday.

Next Sunday is Mother's Day here too. I will no doubt get phone calls from my sons.
