I'm from a small city and have never lived in a big one, but I'd not like country living, no siree. My husband, on the other hand is from the country and would rather live there too. On that score we're not well-matched.

@amadeo That's okay, it didn't really need an answer. But it is nice to know when someone did read my response.

I was born in Chicago, and lived both in cities and small country towns growing up. It might sound weird but I have no preference. I love the city because there's stuff to do, but the crime rate in cities kills that, and I"m not too much of a people person anyway. While living in the country is beautiful and there's nobody around but at the same time I find it a little boring. Where I live now isn't really a city and it isn't much of a country it's just a typical rural America town, which is nice. It's the middle ground.

You can take the girl out of the city but you can't take the city out of the girl. I was city the first 53 years of my life - country the last 16 - but there are things I miss about city living - good restaurants good shopping..plus other things.

The theater was a passion for me.I was blown away with the first production of Chorus Line and many follow after that.
