They are finally taking a good nap

This morning, we woke up around 6am, as we went out to distribute flyers. My husband and I were tired when we got home, and we just went to sleep. The two children were still playing on their own.
When I woke up, I found that my son just fell asleep and my little girl was still jumping and playing around in the room. She told me she is still not sleepy. I asked her to lie down and pat her for awhile, she immediately fell asleep. It's so funny that within one minute, she just fell asleep.
It's so nice to see two of them sleeping nicely, as I know they must be really tired. Children can really still play even when they are tired. Where do they get those energies?
Do you usually take a nap in the afternoon?

Yes, I think the kindergarten here will ask the kids to take afternoon nap too. I just can't imagine how the teacher can ask all the kids to sleep together, I can't even ask my two kids to do so.
My children do not like to take afternoon nap at all, I tried hard to "force" them, but now I just let them be. Glad that I didn't, especially when I read this from you, so my children won't hate me for forcing them to take a nap.

With my hectic schedule I don't have the time to take a nap.

Yes, sometimes we just can't afford to take a nap. I guess I am blessed now, because I am pregnant, I really need to take a nap, and my two children can play on their own well most of the time and let me take a good nap too. I remember I was so tired when my little girl was young, but still couldn't afford to take a nap.

@toniganzon Yes, I think that too. I used to be more energetic and could afford not to sleep, but now I need the nap so badly.

Yes, I don't know where the children get all the energies.
So you will just spend time with him while both of you are at home? That's good too, since during the weekdays, both of you are either working or schooling, perhaps it's good to have more bonding time during weekend.
