I saw this on the news and had to watch the video again. It so touching and I missed admit I did not see the ending coming (I will not spoil it). This video was created by a german student and the story is above the video.

Four years ago, a webcomic known as "Three-Legged Dog" surfaced online and stole the hearts of readers everywhere. It told the story of a young boy who receives a three-legged dog as a present from his mother.

I like when the news has something touching and not tragic on it. Cute!

I agree and I was shocked the station played the whole video.

I agree, and I rarely share videos, but I kept watching this a few times, and went wow, that is touching.

I agree and I did see that coming at the end. My wife and I watched it for the first time and when the child was walking out the door, we look at each and thought wow.

Wow!!!
I am a big dog lover and I admit I was not happy by the way the boy treated the dog at first. However, by the end, I was getting emotional, that is totally a sweet movie. Thanks for sharing!!!

I agree. When my wife and I watched it for the first time, we made comments, why is this kid being so mean to the dog.

@mypointsju I guess its, in part, because I'm into the animal rescue community and things, like the comic, are part of what gets shared around

I did not know about the comic, so the ending was a surprise to us.

I fell in love with this short film as well. It's poignant how an animal could make a person feel so much better about life.

@mypointsju That was very touching and I didn't see the end coming either. Whoever put that together did a great job. Thanks for sharing that heart warming video.

I don't care to watch videos through myLot.
I am glad the report you gave the link to was also linked to the comic strip!
Yep! Warm and fuzzy!
Thanks!

Yes, the back story was important for the video and it was nice that site had the back story, plus the video.

Boy, the beginning of that video made me mad @mypointsju but when I saw the end of it, I realized why the child had felt anger at the beginning. Fantastic video.

Yes it was a great message and I really liked how you did not know until the end of the short film the message.

Loved the short film! What was the song that was played towards the end? Looked through the credits but didn't see any information about it.

I watched a movie by the same title back in the mid 1970's at a local matinee at the Inwood Theater in Dallas, Texas. But this was I believe a movie of a different nature, based on a novella by Harlan Ellison, created in the year 1975.
I will check out your link later and probably like it a lot. Happy Mother's Day. I am sure your version is a lot better than that one.
