Did you know? I was checking the "Connections" supplement that comes with our power bill and it was talking about a family from Ontario, Oregon who came to the Swan Falls Park to do some geocaching recently. There are actually 12 of these caches and for those who can find all 12 they will learn about "the importance of clean, renewable hydroelectric power". They can also use the clues that they find in these caches to disclose the where abouts of a prize.
Swan Falls is a lovely area here in Idaho. It is an area along the Snake River Canyon . I recall one of the last times I was there. We launched a raft and rode it down the river for quite a ways. My ex and his friends use the area for their paint ball adventures. It is actually a dam site for the river.
The picture is of the Snake River and the Owyhees. Lovely area. Back by the dam there are plenty of rocks and lizards, sharp cliffs, you feel like you have landed on a remote planet. Rafting is nice down through here. Nerve wracking but nice. Not near the scare ride the River of No Return is. I lived through that once too.

@celticeagle I would probably fall off the raft a lot but I'd enjoy that too

I'm afraid of the water but, after it was all said it done, it was quite an experience.

Myn power bill says nothing except pay by a certain date or pay a late fee!!!
Many, many years ago I was at Snake River Canyon--I hope it is the same as it was 40 + years ago but then what is?

geocaching is quite fun, although I am never good at finding the hide once we get to the location recorded
