My Ticket Is Booked

Yay! I will be home to the Philippines again. I have not been there for 2 years. When I came home yesterday from work, my hubby told me that he has booked my flight . I am so excited now. I have to buy a lot of things for my travel. I have to pack balikbayan boxes too to be send to my home through ship. I will be able to drink coconut water from my coconut trees again.

I can feel and understand your excitement , my kababayan . Most Filipinos staying abroad are always excited when they will be going back for a vacation or for good in the Philippines . 
And those young coconut juice , they need not be bottled anymore , but fresh from the tree .

Yes, there's something in our country that keep us going home. Although I live here in Germany more years than in Pinas, still I have to go home. I have tried canned coconut water once and never again. It tasted bad. Thanks @SIMPLYD. Happy weekend

Hah! Going back home alone for a visit?! Hubby not coming with you? My wife would never let me "balikbayan" alone. I wonder why! Maybe because my favorite song (I love singing it) is Julio Iglesias' song "To All The Girls, I Loved."

I usually packed things that I no longer use here like clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils, canned goods, gifts for friends and relatives and baking ingredients that I can't find in the Philippines @hereandthere. I bake cakes and other goodies for orders when I stay in my house in Pinas.

How long will you be able to stay?? Sounds like a wonderful holiday!! I have only had coconut water from a can... sad but true. I'm sure that fresh would taste amazing

I have a 1 year ticket validity. I can stay that long but it depends how many months I stay there. At least half a year @Hate2Iron
