Raining This Morning

So this morning I was welcomed by the sight and sound of a beautiful light rain. It is like the yards turned like jungles during the night. I think that I have now more than the usual "40 shades of green".
I am including a song here titled "40 Shades Of Green" sung by Daniel O'Donnel.
I am not particularly found of country music, but I thought the song would go well with this little post.
Enjoy the song and the rain if you have it at your place.

It rained here as well in the last 2 days mainly in the evening and continued through the night which sounded like a lullaby

Thanks for the share..Boy! I sure wish there's rain here its weeks now and we are praying for rain to stop the hot the weather. I wish it rains.

i've many shades'f green here, but jest's many'f brown 's the rains'f eluded's purty much fer months now outside'f a few sprinkles.
i love the freshness 'fter a shower, e'erythin' smells so "new".
mr. o'donnell 'twas one'f my mother-in-laws fav's, she was e'en listenin' to him's she passed'n recently.

@marlina indeed! this time last year we'd been blessed by many rains'n the landscape 'twas aglow with greens. alas, such didn't occur this year.
