Right now I am relaxing inside after being outside to try to do some work , but it was getting way too humid for me and my heart. So I gave up and decided to come here instead.
While reading and commenting on discussions, I am listening to Carole King right now. One of my favorite songs from her is "It's Too Late". But she has plenty of others too.
I hope that you will enjoy this musical interlude as much as I do right now.
"It's Too Late" is a #1 song from Carole King's 1971 album Tapestry. Toni Stern wrote the lyric and King wrote the music. It's Too Late" was placed at No.469...

She is still a favorite of mine. There was a great special with James Taylor on TV a few months back and also a celebration when she was given an award in Washington, DC. I met her briefly once here when she came to town to appear at a George McGovern meeting when he was running for President.

@JamesHxstatic Like the saying goes "Good things come in small packages". There is a proof right there.

@marlina She was so tiny. I expected her to be taller than maybe 5' 1".

This was the theme song for my divorce from my first husband. He was an a$$hat and when he promised he'd change and begged me to come back, I said no, over and over but in my mind this song kept me going.
