Here's a little laugh to start your day

I was wide awake at 5:20 am so I got up, fed Ruby and put on the coffee. I had my 'free time' until my husband got up around 7:00. Once we had breakfast I ventured in here to the computer. I always check e-mails first then Facebook. I got my laugh for the day when I checked my news feed. The very first item posted was for a yard sale in the next small town over. It listed things such as: * toys * clothes * lawn mower * Chester Drawers For those of you not laughing, a "Chester Drawers" is really a 'Chest Of Drawers'. Hopefully she doesn't work at a furniture store. Photo: pixabay.com/en/dresser-furniture-cabinet-storage-576043/

I wish proof reading was the answer - that's an example of the ''younger generation" and their short cuts or learning issues.

@AbbyGreenhill That's probably true. I just assume a chest of drawers is a chest of drawers but back in the early days of life that's what we called them, not they call them dressers.....

We have a local buy and sell site and some of the stuff on there... You'd think they'd never been to school.

I think 'attending' school and 'learning in school' may be two different things LOL

It can be easy to make mistakes like that sometimes such as if someone is tired or its not their first language. I was wondering what that was and didn't get it at first. I'm glad that it gave you a good laugh early in the morning.

It seems that many who post on Facebook have difficulties in spelling correctly some words.

I am not sure that is a spelling error - it's more like that's what she really thinks the name of that piece of furniture is.

I laugh too when I see things mis-spelled phonetically like that. I've seen 'Chester draws' before, as well as 'dinning table' and several others that of course I've now forgotten.

The best part is that her stupidity made some of us smile.

That would have given me a chuckle too! Sometimes, I am amazed at some of the people on FB that don't know how to spell. Chester Drawers, isn't a spelling mistake, but still funny!
