Severe storms headed to the Jersey Shore / myLot

There is quite a line of thunderstorms headed this way this evening. According to Accuweather, we can expect severe storms along with the potential for hail. Doesn't that sound like fun? I have to find the ThunderShirt for my old man cat. He is petrified of storms so I put it on him to help to try to keep him calm. At least I have advance notice and I know that the storm is approaching. It won't be here for another couple of hours.

Storms used to scare my cat, too, big time. What is the Thundershirt? Just a shirt that keeps him comfortable? Hopefully the storm will move off the track, as they sometimes do, and all will be well. I am sure we will be getting some rain as well. It seems like it is non-stop raining here these days.

It is a velcro wrap that tighly wraps around the cat to apply pressure which is supposed to calm him down. It doesn't keep him completely calm but I can't say that it doesn't help somewhat.
