Been Enjoying a Bit More Coffee Lately

Hamilton Beach single cup brewer, owned by me.

A couple of years ago I purchased a single cup brewer, but I didn't want the expense of a Keurig, so I bought a Hamilton Beach single cup instead. The one I got is in my image. That first year I drank a lot of coffee usually between both jobs not necessarily in the morning after getting up. Then I decided to drink less for a bit. That was when I was just working one job during the winter months. I figured I'd get back into drinking coffee again once I worked both jobs and that would be when I really needed it. But for whatever reason, I never got back into drinking coffee then. I keep buying pods on sale, but so much time passes in between me drinking it that it's dried up. I finally switched to a three pod package to keep it fresher longer. I do also have a can of regular coffee as I can use filters with this brand of maker also. Recently, I've had a bit more coffee and taken it with me to church or work. But, I realize the travel mug I have isn't well-made, so I need to find a better cup that won't spill. Do you all that drink coffee just enjoy it at home, or do you take it wherever you go?

When I drank decaf with my husband, I mostly only drank one cup each day. Then when I got the one cup maker, I again only drank one cup and that is my norm, but sometimes I'm in a hurry to get out to window jobs or similar things and that's when I've considered taking something with me. I have taken regular coffee mugs, but all of them don't fit easily in the area for that in my van.

I love coffee so much that I do bring it with me when I leave the house in my coffee cup I have. =) I don't mind instant or fresh coffee-their both amazing.

I used to mainly drink decaf with my husband in the morning until these coffee makers came out. I drank hot tea all winter, I feel better about drinking a lot of hot tea rather than a lot of coffee, so I know I won't drink as much as most do. It's probably better not to drink coffee and some will do much better attitude wise when staying away from it, but it does help when working a lot of hours.

I do drink coffee but I don't mind instant so if I decide to drink more one day it won't be a bother.

I hated instant when I was younger, but don't mind certain brands now. In fact, one brand has the packets to put into water and that works well on the run also, but it's a bit more expensive sometimes. When I was young I drank it with milk and sugar, now I drink it with flavored creamer. That's my preference, although when helping my mom with meals I will have some at her place without my creamer.

I tried to visit with you a bit ago and my computer wouldn't let me into your pages. I'll try again now and if I still have problems I'll have to stop by tomorrow or another day soon.

I never drink it as I don't like it. I know I'm unusual, as most people can't seem to survive without it.

I can survive with or without it. Periodically when I do need to stay awake I will have a cup to see if it helps, but many times I used to drink it late at night and it rarely kept me awake when I went to bed, so I never know whether it will or won't help if I need to stay awake. Sometimes I'll just have a portion of a keep awake pill that contains as much caffeine as one cup of coffee. That will help me stay awake when I'm desperate.

I don't drink coffee. But when I was in the Navy, there was a guy who always had a cup of coffee in his hands, a regular mug. He was never without it. My late X was a coffee drinker. The coffee pot was on 24/7.

My husband still drinks decaf and makes a pot in the mornings. I don't think he usually drinks the whole pot unless he's trying to postpone buying more milk.

@cacay1 Three's not bad. My X was never without his coffee. He might have gone through that many pots a day.

I enjoy coffee at home but not every day. Hubby is the one who takes coffee with him everywhere.

That was usually my normal and I may continue in that vein as I don't want to accidentally spill my travel mug that doesn't seal all that well. I don't have any plans on drinking some each day, except I did buy newer creamer, and it's been colder here this weekend, so I may make more tomorrow.

One or two cups at home is more than enough for me. I have so many travel mugs, but never drink on the go.
