So Cold Out There

I can't believe how cold it is out here right now. It almost feel like we are going to get some snow. I don't recall such a cold month of May. I just went out for a little while and I am so happy to be back as I was frozen out there. Are you experiencing a bad month of May where you live? I hope not. It is very frustrating as May is my favorite month of the year and Mother Nature blew it.

It is windy, cold, and rainy here. I had hopes of getting the garden planted. Not sure that I will put anything out right now, even if the sun were shining. It wouldn't surprise me to get snow. We have had it snow this time of year a few times in the past. Hoping that it warms up by next Friday. I have a 3 day weekend.

It is not cold here. It is really kinda hot to be honest with you. But we had a few cold days last week that elt like thatI was freezing but did not want to tuen the heat on at the start of summer LOL.

@marlina We were trying to save money as there were a few times during the winder we used like 20.00 in one day due to us running the heat.

May has always been my favorite month, but this year is not a good month. This morning the temperature was 7 degrees Celsius, more or less 10 degrees less than the norm.

The month of May is definitively my favorite month of the year. But like you, I am not being spoiled this year by the weather. This morning was 5 Celsius, but now it is better.

It's been in the 40's here and howling windy and that as we all know makes it feel even colder. I am very sick of this and want my spring temps back.

Went out in the evening for a walk and it was really cold here too, had to come back quicker than planned.The month is still young,maybe it will get better.

When we were on our way to town just before 1pm, it started to come down, it was a combination between sleet and snow. It was awful. And we drove by a freshly planted field of tomatoes, that poor farmer, he'll be glad that he has his crop insurance premiums paid up this year.

Many years ago I spent two months at Goose Bay, in the summer. I still remember being amazed at the leaves turning into the colours of Autumn, while back in the UK everything was still green

I'm sorry it is so cold where you are! I just couldn't live up there, I hate cold weather. Our cold weather is usually over in late February or early March. We do have the rare cold snap around Easter, but not freezing weather. We have had a nice month of May so far, fairly warm weather and rain. I hope your weather improves soon!
