I should have let my hair down!

On Saturday we went to the school fair. It was one of those days when you aren't sure what the weather is going to be like so people turned up with T-shirts, coats and sunglasses ready for anything. Luckily the weather was gorgeous and lots of people turned out so I think it was quite a success, which was great as lots of effort had gone into the event this year.
The downside for me was that I had bundled my hair into a clip at the back of my head to try and look tidy, and as a result, by the time I'd stood in the sun watching a dance display, listening to the school band and later waiting for food, the back of my neck got quite sunburned and now it's rather sore. I really should have let my hair down!

Ouch that must have hurt. I usually apply suncream on my face and neck whether I go out of the house or not.
